The hosts that came on-site were friendly and tried to help out, however what we had an issue with is the online co-host and poor preparedness of the house for emergencies. We booked 5 adults, 5 kids to stay at the property, an hour after check-in, a storm rolled through, the property lost power and running water. We got in touch with online cohost, she was dismissive and insulting when we told her about unsanitary situation with no running water in the bathrooms. There was no directions from hosts on what to do when the power goes out (which apparently happens periodically in the area) nor were we offered any light source, ice, extra water etc. 16 hours after power loss, one of the hosts came by and turned on the generator, but water was still an issue.
