Restful Retreats: Bedrooms Designed for Every Guest

Our home features three thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, ensuring comfortable spaces for everyone. On the main floor, the Blue Bird Room (Bedroom 2) is outfitted with a queen-sized bed, offering cozy accommodations with easy access to shared living spaces. Nearby, the Bear Den (Bedroom 3) features two twin bunk beds, perfect for younger guests or friends sharing a room. Each bunk bed provides a cozy, snug sleeping environment. The main floor also includes a convenient bathroom, supporting these bedrooms with easy accessibility and privacy.

Ascending the stairs, the King Loft (Bedroom 1) presents a tranquil escape. With a luxurious king-sized bed and a dedicated bathroom just outside, the King Loft offers seclusion and serene views from an elevated perspective.

Additionally, the basement houses a half bath alongside laundry facilities, combining practicality with comfort throughout the home.

Situated in The Hideout, a premier four-season recreational community, our property offers more than just stunning lakefront views—it opens the door to an array of amenities that cater to every interest and age group. Whether you're here to ski down our private hill in the winter, challenge yourself on the golf course, or enjoy the diverse activities available year-round, there's always something exciting to do. The Hideout boasts facilities that include tennis courts, beaches, pools, and even an art studio, ensuring that your stay is filled with enjoyable and enriching experiences. From leisurely afternoons on the golf greens to thrilling ski runs and serene moments at the lake, every season brings its unique charm and opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

****Please Note: This home is located in a secured, gated, private community. You will need to fill out a rental contract and agree to the community and house rules. This will need to be completed and signed, (to include the names, ages, addresses and relationships to you for all of your guests) for entrance into the community. This will need to be completed within 72 hours of your arrival or the community will assess a $100 late fee that you will be responsible for. Any violations will be subject to citations from the community and possible eviction from the property. It will be sent to you by our property manager upon booking. You may not exceed the max amount of people allowed and this number includes infants and children and there are no more than 4 cars allowed in the driveway. No other guests can visit the lot while you are there. Items provided in the home to include games, appliances etc. are subject to change without notice.****

Guest access

The wonderful communal facilities, including ski hill, golf course, pool, beach, restaurants, art studio, tennis, pickleball, gym and many more are available for guest use.

Each guest requires an ID issued by the community to use the facilities. Use of all community facilities is pursuant to the rules, regulations, guidelines, fees and availability established by The Hideout POA.

This property is located within a tranquil gated community. Note that noisy behavior and parties may result in fines or ejection from the community.

Use of the motorboat requires a valid Pennsylvania boater’s license, signing additional waivers and a conversation with the owner about your boating experience.

This home is located within a gated community. Registration is required 3 days prior to arrival date. An email address must be provided to Rental Manager can send the registration form. This is a community requirement and not within control of the homeowner. Community will impose a $100.00 rush fee if this step is not completed in time. All drivers must stop at the main gate for gate passes. All drivers must show a valid drivers license and valid vehicle registration for entry into community. There are no exceptions. No discounts or refunds will be given if any guest is denied access to the community due to not having these forms upon arrival.

Garbage must be removed from the property at check out. There is a local trash facility - please see documents at the house for location and hours.

Other things to note

Due to Town of Salem restrictions, we can only accommodate 9 registered guests.

Please note the name and address of each guest is required not later than 48 hours prior to reservation for gate registration. A form will be sent to the email of the primary renter, who must be over 25, for completion. All drivers must show a valid drivers license and valid vehicle registration upon check in. There are no exceptions to this community requirement.

There is a central trash facility for all owners and guests to use located within a 2 minute drive from the house. Trash is not picked up at the house and cannot be left at the house upon departure.

Community can close any amenity at their discretion, including lake usage. Homeowner is not responsible for this and will not offer discounts or refunds for any closure, including weather related closures.

A Community Access Fee is part of the total price of your stay. A $500.00 security deposit is waived for AirCover stays; otherwise a hold on a credit card will be placed until no damages are confirmed after check out.

To use the motorboat you must have a valid Pennsylvania boater’s license, sign additional waivers and have a conversation about your boating experience with the owner.

*Outdoor camera disclosure: for the safety and security of our guests and the property, cameras monitor all exterior areas of the property including but not limited to the driveway, stairs and dock. Video and audio is retained for no longer than 30 days unless an issue arises. No guest-accessible interior areas are monitored with audio or video, however noise monitors may be in use.

Location

The address for your GPS is 1284 Hamlin Hwy Lake Ariel, PA which will take you Lake Genero/Tailgaters directly across from the community. Make a left into the community, get into the right lane and park. Please take your ID and vehicle info into the gate house and tell them you are going to lot 1761. They will check you in and give you directions to the house
